Veemarktkwartier Tilburg

In the city Centre of Tilburg the Veemarktstraat is a neglected area at the back of cafes and restaurants.

The task for JMW architects was to transform this street to a new active area with payable offices for young creative professionals and restaurants for a lively day and nightlife. The concept for the reconstruction of the area was to develop a square to create a new public space on a high attractive level. The existing facade of the garage is transformed to a facade with green vegetation that introduces the existing park at the back of the street.
