Surfclub Tilburg

The new business area in Tilburg was to be developed at an existing pond which was in use for surfing. The surf club used shipping containers as clubhouse. After exploring the new business area these should be demolished and a new clubhouse was te be designed. The low budget and the context of business buildings in the area was a reason to create a design that adapted to its further environment. Black steel metal facades with large glass facades create a sober but elegant atmosphere at the border of the pond.
